Refund & Return Policy

 

Refund/Return Policy - It is the policy of The Vacation Store to reschedule the vacation and not to refund if there is a conflict in your schedule. We do not refund vacation packages after they are purchased, unless we cannot book your travel dates. 

 

Your package can be cancelled and rescheduled anytime over a 2 year period, as long as you meet our cancellation & reschedule policies below. Your package fee will be credited to your account and you will have 2 full years to use the funds to any of our destinations during the 2 year period.

 

Once your dates have been confirmed, you are ineligible for a refund. You are only eligible for a credit. If you cancel a reservation, and try to re-book at a later date, the second reservation is not eligible for a refund, only a credit would be available. A refund for our failure to book your dates is only possible the first time you book travel dates. Once you cancel all future re-bookings are not eligible for a refund

 

Reschedule/change dates Policy - You may reschedule your vacation no less than 4 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, at no charge.  Failure to re-schedule with at least 4 days advance notice of your check-in date will result in a 1 day fee at regular rack rate of the resort you are booked at. Regular rack rate means, the full regular price for the hotel room, suite or condo you booked.

 

Any funds remaining will be credited to your account and you will have 2 full years to use the funds to any of our destinations.

 

Cancellation Policy - You may cancel your reservation no less than 4 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, at no charge.  Failure to re-schedule with at least 4 days advance notice of your check-in date will result in a 1 time fee of 1 day of lodging at regular rack rate. Regular rack rate means, the full regular price for the hotel room, suite or condo you booked.

 

If you give at least 4 days notice, there is no fee. Your package fee will be credited to your account and you will have 2 full years to use the funds to any of our destinations.

 

Failure to re-schedule prior to check in- Failure to cancel or re-schedule prior to check in will result in the forfeiture of your package and you will not be refunded any money that you paid for your package. This means that if you fail to check in at your resort or call us before your check in date to notify us of your need to cancel will result in the loss of your reservation, and any money paid for the package.

 

If you notify us in advance of your check in date, you will not lose your money, but You may still incur the cancellation inside of 4 days fee as outlined above if applicable.

 

Payment Plan Policy - All packages purchased on a payment plan from The Vacation Store must be paid in full no less than 30 days prior to check in unless you have made other arrangements with us directly. Failure to pay your package in full as agreed will result in the loss of your deposit and your reservation will be cancelled.

 

You may cancel the reservation, before the 30 day mark, and we will apply the money you have paid for the package to your account for future use. But you must cancel the reservation prior to the 30 day deadline.

 

Terms & Conditions - You agree that you and your spouse or significant other (if you have one), will attend a 90 minute open house at The Host Resort during your trip, that includes an explanation of the benefits of vacation ownership.  You understand there is absolutely no obligation to buy, join, or sign a thing at the open house, and you also understand there are no high pressure tactics.

 

Failure to attend the open house - At the host resort during your trip will result in your credit card or checking account being charged for regular rack rate for the entire amount of lodging, plus a $50.00 no show fee. Regular rack rate means, the full regular price for the hotel room, suite or condo you booked.

 

Additional expenses - No transportation, gratuities, or taxes are included in our offers. You must pay state sales taxes of $8.00 - $12.00 per night to the resort at the time of check in.

To be eligible for this promotional vacation offer, you must meet all of the terms including the age, income & marital qualifications that are associated with your promotional vacation offer. Failure to meet the age, income & eligibility requirements at the open house at the host resort during your trip will result in your credit card or checking account being charged for regular rack rate for the entire amount of lodging, plus a $50.00 no fee. Regular rack rate means, the full regular price for the hotel room, suite or condo you booked. (check your offers terms to make sure you meet them)

 

By booking a vacation with The Vacation Store, you are hereby agreeing to our refund & cancellation policy, and giving The Vacation Store your understood and uncontestable approval to all of the above terms & conditions, including your agreeing to attend the open house resort tour during your trip
